LUNCHEON DETAILS
ALL ABOUT THE LUNCHEON
If you decide to join us for fellowship and good conversation without any PC you will find us at the Buckingham Arms Hotel,Walkerville Terrace Walkerville Sth Australia( 8344-1444)on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 12.15pm . Lunch is invariably concluded by 2.30pm.If you wish to bring a friend along too that's ok as long as you let us know in advance.
Seldom can all of the Members turn up but mostly we have an attendance of from 8 upwards and sometimes we need to book two tables for special occasions. The present membership is by common consent restricted to Gentlemen as it was felt that Ladies should have their own Luncheon event where they also could feel free to discuss matters particular to their own interests.
The lunch is up to you being a selection from an enormous range of foods in the Smorgasbord. Soups, Fish, Meats of many varieties from which you make your own selection. With adequate ( but not excessive) supplies of wine (Jacobs Creek Shiraz is popular but Merlot is often ordered: if you prefer a white wine thats ok too) the Luncheon costs seldom exceeds $30 a head all (up including wine).
